Our chefs prepare our crepes using the same traditional technique that is taught in Brittany, France. We use a hot round cast iron “billig” (crepe maker) and spread the housemade batter evenly and efficiently with a “rozell” (a T-shaped crepe spreader).
The sweet crepes are paper thin and filled with a variety of fruits, sauces and simple sugar. Its delicate lacy pattern is an indication of its authenticity!
We offer a lovely assortment of savory galettes (buckwheat crepes) which are rarely offered in Houston but very popular on the streets of Paris and the French countryside. Try the Breton staple – ham, egg, and cheese known as “the Complete.” These crepes are made with a buckwheat flour which is naturally gluten free.
Our paninis are exactly like those found on the streets of Paris – filled with meats, cheeses and seasonal vegetables then pressed tightly to ensure all flavors have melted together.
